The goals of the 2010 New England Preteen Camp are for the campers to have a great time building foundational relationships and wrestling with the power and relevance of God's Word.  Camp Laurel is a perfect setting to experience God in new ways and enjoy friendships that have the potential of lasting into eternity.  The spiritual emphasis of the camp will be that God's Word applies to every area of our lives.  Our preteens are swamped with the world's version of wisdom and role models.  The world's message centers on self.  But the world is wrong.  This year's camp will see the Bible, and particularly Jesus' example, works at home and at school, with family and with friends.

We are excited and honored to be involved in planning and directing the camp.  Building on the foundation laid by Glenn and Danielle Petruzzi, and Rich and Lisa Fisher before them, is a high call.  The opportunity to work with dozens of whole-hearted and talented volunteers that really make the camp go is a humbling opportunity.  Be sure to thank the coordinators, counselors, and others who serve in this ministry.  Also please pray that this year's camp will inspire many towards a lifetime of turning to God and his Word for direction in their lives.
